Job summary

F5 is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Distributed Cloud Application Delivery. You will lead the design, development, and evolution of services powering global web, API, and AI applications across edge and hybrid/multicloud environments.

The role requires strategic thinking, deep SaaS, networking, and security expertise, with cross-functional influence across product, security, engineering, marketing, and sales. You will mentor others and shape go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 10+ years of related experience; bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s; MBA desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management in the cloud networking and security industry
• At least 5 years’ of Application Delivery and Security product management.
• Strong ability to influence across levels and functions
• Strategic and analytical thinking
• Ability to lead in evolving environment with multiple priorities
• Fluent with technical and business personnel
• Experience developing relationships with suppliers and co-marketing partners
• Proven track record meeting targets

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product management of Distributed Cloud Application Delivery offerings
• Launch process delivering technical and business content, demos, pricing, and enablement
• Deliver web content, whitepapers, and demonstrations to drive adoption
• Ensure technical marketing alignment with key partners
• Define technical roadmap and influence product direction for Distributed Cloud Application Delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, engineering, marketing, sales and other teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior product managers
• Establish and uphold best practices in design, development, and go-to-market
• Identify risks, drive solutions, and communicate with stakeholders
