CoAd is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to help define, build, and scale innovative HCM solutions that deliver measurable customer and business value. This role is ideal for a product leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a significant product domain, guiding product strategy, customer discovery, roadmap planning, and delivery execution. You will work closely with Engineering, UX, Architecture, AI, Customer Success, Operations, and business stakeholders to create exceptional customer experiences while driving product adoption, revenue growth, and competitive differentiation.

What You'll Own

  • Product strategy and roadmap ownership for a key HCM product domain.
  • Customer discovery, market research, and problem validation activities.
  • Prioritization of product investments aligned to customer and business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional delivery leadership across Engineering, UX, QA, and Architecture.
  • AI-enabled product innovation opportunities that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Product KPI tracking, adoption measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentorship and guidance of Product Managers and cross-functional partners as needed

Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute product strategies that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain outcome-focused product roadmaps that balance customer needs, technical modernization, compliance requirements, and growth initiatives.
  • Build business cases and prioritize investments based on customer value, strategic impact, and ROI.
  • Partner with Product Leadership to translate company goals into actionable product initiatives.

Customer Discovery & Market Insights

  • Conduct customer interviews, user research, and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities.
  • Analyze customer feedback, support trends, usage data, and market developments to inform prioritization.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout product planning and delivery.
  • Develop a deep understanding of HCM, payroll, benefits, workforce management, and employee experience workflows.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Partner closely with Engineering, BA, QA, UX, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality product capabilities.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Maintain a well-prioritized and sprint-ready backlog.
  • Lead refinement sessions, clarify requirements, manage trade-offs, and remove delivery obstacles.
  • Support launch planning, UAT, and release readiness activities to ensure successful product adoption.

AI-Enabled Innovation

  • Leverage AI tools and methodologies to improve product discovery, delivery efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI-powered capabilities into customer-facing products.
  • Partner with AI and Engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that create measurable customer outcomes and competitive advantage.

Measurement & Product Performance

  • Define and monitor product success metrics, including feature adoption, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and business impact.
  • Analyze product performance and recommend enhancements based on data and customer feedback.
  • Communicate product outcomes, roadmap progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure product investments remain focused on delivering measurable value.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Facilitate alignment around priorities, trade-offs, and strategic decisions.
  • Influence without authority while driving accountability and execution across teams.
  • Present product strategies and complex decisions in a clear, business-focused manner.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6-8 years of progressive Product Management experience with ownership of product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery execution.
  • Experience within HCM, payroll, benefits administration, workforce management, fintech, or other complex B2B SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional product initiatives from discovery through launch and optimization.
  • Experience using AI tools and practices to improve product management workflows and deliver AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Strong customer discovery, requirements writing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Ability to translate customer and business needs into scalable product solutions.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, HR compliance, PEO, ASO, or broader HCM platforms.
  • Experience working within high-growth or private equity-backed technology organizations.
  • Experience mentoring Product Managers or leading product initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Experience with product analytics, experimentation, and outcome-based product management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
