Clio is seeking a product leader to own Centralized Billing System (CBS), a critical internal platform that configures pricing, quotes, packaging, and customer charges. You will drive the roadmap, system health, and long‑term direction while aligning with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and GTM teams.
You will integrate AI into workflows, defend a clear point of view, and push trade‑offs with engineering and design.
Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely. We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.
This role involves owning Clio’s Centralized Billing System (CBS), an internal system that powers how we configure, quote, package, and ultimately charge our customers. CBS is mission‑critical, sitting at the intersection of product, sales, finance, and go‑to‑market. Priorities shift frequently, stakeholders have opinions, and someone must hold the line. This position is ideal for a candidate who writes, defends, and drives a playbook in a fast‑moving, high‑stakes environment.
You are an exceptionally strong stakeholder manager who can listen, synthesize, prioritize, and communicate decisions that maintain trust even when you can’t satisfy everyone. You navigate conflict well.
You are decisive. You form evidence‑based opinions, articulate them clearly, and stand behind them. You build consensus where it matters but do not wait for it to move forward.
You are hands‑on, reviewing designs and pushing trade‑offs alongside engineering and design.
You have a technical background sufficient to own a complex billing or commerce system, understanding architecture and making sound product decisions.
You have integrated AI into your work, running experiments, synthesizing data, and moving faster. This is already how you operate.
This is a new role. Compensation is a key component of Clio’s Total Rewards Program, which includes a fair and competitive pay structure, top‑tier health benefits, dental, vision, and a flexible time‑off policy with an encouraged 20 days off per year.
Key highlights:
The expected salary range for this role is $137,500 to $186,100 CAD, with additional bands for other regions based on local currency. Salary bands reflect the range of skills and experience; the top portion is reserved for employees demonstrating sustained high performance and impact. The final offer will depend on region and experience.
