Job summary

CDW is seeking a Managing Consulting Engineer to drive innovative design and implementation across multiple geographies, leading project teams and delivering solutions. The role applies deep technical expertise to analyze client requirements and develop Digital Velocity services.

You will create business cases, ensure alignment across projects, and mentor teams while maintaining client relationships. Travel as needed; salary range reflects senior leadership level and includes an annual bonus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required and 7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience, including 3+ years supporting enterprise cross-brand projects OR 11+ years of work experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize workload under tight deadlines.
  • Proven organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and escape technical issues to appropriate vendor support teams.
  • Experience maintaining client relationships and serving as a communication liaison.
  • Ability to lead technical review of deliverables from engineering and consulting teams.
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to research complex technology solutions, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to adapt to change, ambiguity, and risk while solving complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply lessons learned and reskill on new technologies.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
