Intellian Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for our Flat Panel Antenna (FPA) satellite UT portfolio. You will drive alignment between system architecture, customer needs, and market demand, acting as the primary product lead across multiple programs.

You will collaborate with engineering, TPM, and sales to ensure technical feasibility, competitive positioning, and success across aero, maritime, enterprise, and government segments.

The Senior Product Manager executes the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for the company's Flat Panel Antenna (FPA)-based satellite communications User Terminal (UT) portfolio. Operating as a lead individual contributor, this role sits at the intersection of customer needs, system architecture, and execution, ensuring product variants are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with market demands.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Drives execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned FPA-based UT platform variants.
• Translates market needs and customer feedback into detailed product definitions and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
• Supports product positioning, segmentation, and value proposition definitions across key customer verticals (e.g., aero, maritime, enterprise, government).
• Evaluates trade-offs between performance, SWaP-C, cost, schedule, and complexity to meet business objectives.

Technical Product Ownership

• Serves as the primary product lead for FPA-based UT systems, maintaining coherence between system architecture, specs, and customer expectations.
• Partners closely with engineering to ensure technical feasibility, integration, and platform stability across antenna, modem, and sub-systems.
• Maintains key system requirements and product specifications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contributes to the core platform and derivative product strategy across multiple customer programs.

Cross-Functional & Execution Alignment

• Collaborates with Technical Program Management (TPM), Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations to align technical execution with product scope.
• Partners with Sales and business development teams to support commercial opportunities and refine market requirements.
• Provides product-level input to program governance, technical reviews, and milestone gates (e.g., PDR, CDR, FDR).
• Ensures requirements are clearly documented, communicated, and traceable for engineering teams.
• Engages directly with customers and partners to gather operational concepts (CONOPS) and requirements.
• Supports RFI/RFP responses, customer technical deep-dives, and product demonstrations.
• Tracks competitive developments, emerging satellite communications technologies, and relevant industry standards.

Lifecycle Management & Business Performance

• Manages assigned products through their full lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and feature updates.
• Tracks product performance metrics, adoption, and field feedback to inform roadmap iterations.
• Assists commercial teams with value messaging, pricing inputs, and technical business cases.

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of total experience in satellite communications, telecommunications, or related technology domains.
• 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in product management or technical system ownership roles.
• Strong system-level understanding of FPA architectures, RF systems, and modem integration.
• Demonstrated experience defining technical products through development lifecycles from concept to production.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of driving results without formal line authority.
• Experience supporting technical sales discussions, RFIs/RFPs, or direct customer integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• Experience across LEO, MEO, and GEO satellite constellations.
• Hands-on familiarity with phased array antennas, RF front-end architectures, and modem platforms.
• Familiarity with product and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Salesforce).

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Ability to travel to satellite locations or customer sites as needed.
