Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Global Product Manager for the Standard Drives portfolio in Mequon, WI. You will own the product lifecycle, develop business plans, roadmaps, and profitability, and interact with sales, customers, and partners to drive portfolio growth.

Qualifications

And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionAs a Senior Global Product Manager, you will be a member of the Low Voltage Drives portfolio team responsible for leading and managing the product lifecycle for a product in our Standard Drives portfolio. You will include the development and management of business plans, product roadmaps, forecasting, global profitability, customer requirements, technical resolution, and commercial messaging for assigned products. You will have a significant amount of interface with the sales organization including direct communication with end customers and channel partners. In addition, you will work closely with the management team to help evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives and achieve portfolio revenue and share growth goals though a strong strategy and shared product roadmaps. You will report to the Business Manager and will work Hybrid in Mequon, WI.Primary Responsibilities:Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesWill be both technical and commercial \"expert\" for internal and external customersSpecify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, voice of customer, and visits to customers where appropriateParticipate in cross BU projects as necessary to enhance technical understanding and influence evolution of products and solutionsAssists with customer support and issue resolutionAnalyze competitive products, and develop comparisonsDevelop training materials and product positioningKeep current on industry trends and changing market and/or regulatory requirements, and competitive products relative to assigned product linesPromote products at trade shows and product training eventsThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
