Job summary

Penske Automotive Group is seeking an Onboard Systems Manager to oversee onboarding, monitoring, and issue resolution for telematics data within the Connected Fleet platform. You will collaborate with IT, application development, TSPs and customer success to ensure data quality and value.

The role requires coordinating with telematics providers, documenting processes, and driving data governance and improvements across the data platform.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical integrations, data analysis or data management
  • General experience with (sensor monitoring) hardware or IOT/sensor data preferred
  • Experience using data visualization tools preferred
  • Experience working with IT to resolve technical issues
  • Experience managing critical vendor relationships
  • General understanding of data management preferred
  • Experience working with computer and/or network hardware preferred
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret management policy as it relates to data governance and how that applies to the data platform
  • Make recommendations and give expert advice to management on process improvements related to prioritization, documentation, and process
  • Other projects as assigned by the Director

Job description

Position Summary

The Onboard Systems Manager is responsible for onboarding, managing, monitoring, assessing, and resolving issues from telematics partners coming into the Connected Fleet telematics platform. The Onboard Systems Manager will partner with IT, application development teams, telematics service providers (TSPs) and customer success to ensure data is received as expected, perform data quality assessments, and formulate mitigation plans where necessary. This individual will also establish and maintain solid working relationships with new and existing telematics service providers.

Major Responsibilities
