Job summary

Wiley seeks a Director of Product for Applied Research Intelligence (ARI) to lead the market strategy for decision-grade intelligence across pharma, biotech, and life sciences. You will shape partnerships, guide integration, and translate R&D workflows into product priorities with high autonomy and visibility.

You will own the external product narrative, drive early wins with customers, and help scale the product function as the business grows, reporting to the VP of Product, ARI.

Qualifications

• First-hand experience working within corporate R&D in pharma, biotechnology, or life sciences, with a demonstrated product mindset.
• Track record of generating insight from scientific literature and data across the R&D value chain.
• 10+ years of progressive senior product, data-science, or scientific-innovation leadership roles, including hands-on building and launching.

Responsibilities

• Own ARI's outward-facing product strategy and value proposition across pharma, biotech, life sciences, and materials R&D.
• Lead the partnership and integration ecosystem, shaping the roadmap with engineering and partnerships teams.
• Drive early customer wins and adoption through sales, services, and pilots.
• Be the voice of the corporate R&D customer, translating workflows into product priorities and roadmap.
