PIMCO is seeking a senior, business-oriented Vice President, Product Manager to lead multi-year Credit Technology platforms that support investment research, analytics, and trading workflows in Newport Beach, CA.

This role partners with credit analysts, portfolio managers, traders, analytics teams, engineers, and data professionals to deliver scalable technology solutions that improve workflow efficiency and data accessibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management, technology strategy, or related experience in financial services.
• Experience leading strategy and roadmap execution for complex platforms, data products, or analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of fixed income, credit markets, and investment research workflows.
• Proven ability to partner with senior investment professionals, engineers, and data teams.
• Experience gathering and refining complex requirements and translating into actionable deliverables.
• Strong analytical and technical fluency with data models, databases, APIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for Credit Technology platforms.
• Partner with credit analysts, portfolio managers, traders, analytics teams, and engineers.
• Translate complex credit needs into priorities, requirements, and delivery plans.
• Lead governance to align stakeholders on priorities, scope, risks, and outcomes.
• Deliver tools, dashboards, data products, analytics capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Establish adoption metrics and monitor post-release performance and impact.
• Collaborate on platform architecture, API strategy, and data integration.
• Ensure post-rollout accountability and continuous improvement.
