Job summary

Brillian, a technology company focused on SMBs, seeks a gifted product engineer to help grow our financial platform. You will shape how we develop, deploy, and operate production-grade systems, with significant autonomy across teams.

We require strong web experience, consumer product instincts, and the ability to own frontend architecture while collaborating with stakeholders to drive growth and improve user outcomes. This is a remote-friendly role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience building interactive, user-facing web applications with modern web tech.
• Owned a user-facing product surface end to end with demonstrated success.
• Strong consumer-facing instincts and understanding of funnels and conversion.
• Proficient in at least one programming language besides JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborative environment; ability to define vision and strategy.
• Experience presenting to clients and stakeholders.
• Care about metrics and user behavior alongside UI.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the best UX and influence product roadmap.
• Collaborate with customer success, engineers, and stakeholders to ship growth initiatives.
• Shape frontend architecture and UI standards; evolve design system and patterns.
• Communicate requirements and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Drive experimentation with A/B tests and track key metrics.
• Leverage TypeScript+React, Relay, INTERCAL, and GraphQL to build interfaces.
