Job summary

CopilotIQ+Biofourmis is seeking a senior software engineer to build and scale an AI-powered health platform for in-home care. You will collaborate with clinical, sales, and product teams to design, ship, and measure impact across the stack, with emphasis on secure data handling and reliable production services.

The role involves building frontend and backend features, integrating with services, and ensuring robust design and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development with cloud production systems.
• System design across services, APIs and data models.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents on a production codebase.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features to production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact problems with Clinical, Sales and stakeholders.
• Own outcomes end-to-end with Product: design, ship, measure, iterate.
• Build across the stack: frontend, backend services, event-driven workflows and integrations.
• Make sound system design decisions covering data models, failure modes, scalability and cost.
• Build AI-powered features with structured outputs, evals and safe fallbacks.
• Protect patient data, maintain audit trails and ship behind feature flags.
• Own production services, respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated system design skills across services, APIs and data models
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents on a production codebase
• Experience shipping LLM-powered features to productionExperience handling sensitive data securely
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, telehealth or care delivery
• Working knowledge of HIPAA
• Experience with LLM model routing or multi-provider orchestration
• Patient-facing mobile experience on React Native
