Gigs in New York, USA, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build consumer-facing web apps and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to ship features end-to-end, collaborating with design and backend teams.

You will own features from planning to shipping, apply AI-driven workflows, and contribute to scalable architectures that balance speed with quality in a fast-growing, globally distributed environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience building web apps with React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Proficient with a modern stack (RESTful APIs, Git, Docker).
• Experience designing scalable architectures and shipping end-to-end features.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development and tooling.

The Role

• You will help build consumer-facing products to deliver the best experience for our customers and their users.
• You will bring new ideas to directly shape our app development and products beyond our established work.
• You will work with a modern tech stack using Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• You will use your skills for Frontend and Backend technologies built on top of Next.js.
• You will take ownership of features from planning and implementing to shipping and optimizing.
• You will work closely with our UI/UX team to develop the best possible experiences for our users.
• You will help design maintainable and scalable software architectures.
• You will give feedback, ideas, and code reviews to your colleagues.
• You will collaborate with colleagues across the engineering organization through cross-functional working groups and our RFC process.

Salary range for Senior Engineer: $205,000 - $235,000

(The final offer depends on your background, skills, and how you perform through the process. We're open to considering mid, senior and staff-level candidates, which may result in an adjustment to the scope and compensation)

What We Are Looking For

• You have advanced experience building web apps using React. You are a TypeScript pro, know your way around Next.js, and can implement common and advanced React patterns. You’ve been doing this for 5+ years. Working with git is natural for you.
• You use AI as a core part of how you work, not an occasional shortcut. That means prompting agents with context and intent, reviewing what they produce critically, and knowing when to push back. You can explain the code an agent wrote, catch when it oversteps the ask, and form your own opinion on whether the output is actually good. You're curious about how the tooling is evolving and actively working to get better at it.
• You enjoy building best-in-class experiences. You know what makes apps excellent, you can give your input and are able to implement the best possible UX.
• You have built and maintained scalable apps. You love to build things for scale and have experience in designing app architectures and writing high-quality code.
• You enjoy building a product from scratch. This means high involvement in the design process and understanding what customers want and users need.
• You love learning technologies as you go. You always want to find the right tool for the job, and not only follow what you already know.
• You care about more than just engineering quality. Whatever you do, needs to have a business impact. You can make trade-offs between speed and quality.
• You are an all-rounder: You're fluent with RESTful APIs, worked with Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions, Cypress, or Testing Library, and have some experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Nice to have: You've shipped and scaled AI features to production. Not just as demos, but as things real users depend on
