Job summary

Silicon Desert Staffing seeks a lead for first-silicon validation, debugging, and product qualification. You will partner with Design, Process, Device, and Operations teams to execute characterization, screen development, and root-cause analysis for critical devices.

You will build yield insights by correlating wafer sort with final test data and manage qualification timelines while serving as the technical contact for OEMs and customers.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience with ATE systems, probers, and test hardware.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (JMP) and programming (Python or C).
• Success in product validation, reliability characterization, and qualification.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project leadership.

• Build yield‑improvement insights by correlating wafer sort and final test data to device‑level behaviors.
• Manage product qualification timelines, status, and communication across internal teams and external partners.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for OEMs and customers.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong experience with ATE systems, probers, and test hardware; memory‑test experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (JMP) and programming (Python or C).
• Demonstrated success in product validation, reliability characterization, and qualification.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project leadership skills.
• High integrity, strong collaboration skills, and a detail‑driven approach.
