Job summary

Anthropologie, part of URBN, is seeking a Senior Product Development Coordinator in Philadelphia. You will implement the business and operational aspects of the brand's product category vision, sourcing materials, and coordinating with suppliers to deliver the right aesthetic on time and within budget.

You will partner with internal teams to develop seasonal category strategies, manage styling and production handoffs, and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive development and sourcing experience in apparel or related industry.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate with internal/external partners.
• Strong understanding of product construction and materials.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate execution of brand vision through product sourcing and material selection to meet cost and timing requirements.
• Meet seasonal calendar targets and communicate issues pro-actively.
• Develop supplier relationships to align category needs with partnerships.
• Attend concept and sketch reviews to clarify design intent and style elements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build category strategy for the season.
• Own style development and sourcing to appropriate suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve adoption rates and style counts per the line plan.
• Coordinate with teams on development process, testing standards, and sample evaluation.
• Transition adopted styles to production with clear milestones and production concerns.
• Mentor junior team members.
