American Rheinmetall Vehicles seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to advance mechanical systems design, including geared and suspension subsystems. You will develop 2D drawings and 3D models, apply GD&T, and verify performance with FEA while aligning with PDP standards.
You will collaborate with manufacturing and quality to ensure manufacturability and drive PDP improvements through rigorous design reviews.
Performs the fundamental engineering tasks associated with the design and development of mechanical systems to product requirements and specifications. Typical products include structural components, suspension systems, and mechanical drive systems.

To perform the job successfully, an individual will need to perform the following competencies.
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in engineering from a four-year college or university and 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software is highly desired.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
