We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to craft intuitive, high-impact, and elegant tools that power the development, manufacturing, and environmental stewardship of Apple products. Joining our Cupertino-based Product & Design team, you will touch critical enterprise platforms, from complex environmental systems modeling carbon and materials, to manufacturing design systems shared with global vendor partners, to brand-new intelligent tools built alongside sister AI teams.If you thrive on untangling dense, high-stakes data pipelines, discovering the unsaid needs of expert users, and reimagining how people work alongside AI, this is your place.
As a Senior Product Designer on this team, you won’t just design screens, you will define mental models and workflows that turn massive, complex operational datasets into clear, actionable interfaces. You have an instinct for investigative user research, looking past initial feature requests to uncover the deeper latent problems users face.You understand both sides of modern AI: how to design human-centered AI product experiences* (dealing with nondeterminism, trust, agentic workflows, and explainability) and how to design with AI to accelerate prototyping, test concepts, and move from discovery to shipped software with velocity. You are comfortable bridging the gap to engineering—whether that means whiteboarding interaction logic, reviewing front-end components, or opening a PR yourself.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
