Job summary

GoGuardian in El Segundo, CA, is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end user experience for one product, from strategy to shipped design. You will work closely with our Lead UX Designer and collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape direction and deliver a cohesive, high-quality experience across our growing product portfolio.

The role emphasizes autonomy, deep customer understanding, and the opportunity to contribute to digital safety insights.

Qualifications

• You've designed and shipped live software products.
• You've owned design for a product or major product area.
• You connect design decisions to customer needs, product goals, and business outcomes.
• You create clarity from complexity for data-heavy or new systems.
• You maintain a high standard of craft in interaction and visual design.
• You explain design decisions clearly and align with PMs and engineers.
• K-12 or education technology experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end user experience for one product, from strategy to shipped design.
• Make strategic design decisions grounded in product goals and customer needs.
• Bring fresh ideas and a clear point of view to the digital safety insights space.
• Collaborate with PMs and senior engineers from strategy through implementation.
• Partner with PMs to learn from users and synthesize evidence into direction.
• Turn complex product challenges into intuitive experiences for users.
• Partner with Lead UX Designer to maintain cohesive, high-quality experiences across products.
• Help build a strong design culture with curiosity and thoughtful feedback.
