Job summary

CLEAR is building the secure identity company of the future. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll own the design of complex identity and verification journeys end to end, creating intuitive, trusted experiences that make verification feel simple.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, internal stakeholders, and business teams to turn user insights into impactful solutions. You’ll set a high bar for craft, shape product direction, advocate for users, and contribute to the design system while

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product design with complex, multi-step flows or regulated products.
• Portfolio showing high-quality digital experiences with strong interaction, visual, and systems thinking.
• Experience using customer insight to solve complex product problems and turn ambiguity into clear design direction.
• Ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize opportunities and take products from concept to launch.
• Strong communication skills to present designs and explain decisions to stakeholders.
• Sound judgment balancing customer needs, business outcomes, technical constraints, privacy, and security.

Responsibilities

• Own design end to end: lead initiatives from discovery to launch with primary focus on craft.
• Shape product direction: work with Product and Engineering to define problems and opportunities.
• Advocate for users: use research insights and analytics to reduce friction in journeys.
• Design for trust: balance usability with privacy, security, and accessibility in verification experiences.
• Contribute to the design system: evolve shared components, patterns, and standards.
• Raise the bar for the team: provide thoughtful feedback and mentor designers.
