Hatch is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive UX across the Hatch Sleep Clock and related adult products. You will own end-to-end design from framing problems to shipping features, collaborating with product and engineering to create meaningful sleep experiences for adults.
You’ll shape journeys across app and device, advocate for accessibility, and bring AI-native design approaches into prototyping and testing to inform what to build next.
The world is wired and tired. It's plagued by screens, notifications, and the sense that you should always be doing ... something. But hey, you're reading this job application right now, so you probably know exactly what we're talking about.
So here's a bit of good news amidst all the noise: Hatch is a sleep wellness company that's betting on rest in a culture obsessed with optimization. While most technology is designed to keep you engaged, our devices use the science of habit formation to help people unplug, unwind, and recharge. Through genuinely enjoyable routines, habit building, and gentle guidance (no sleep scores or wearables here), we help people build healthier sleep habits and feel the difference in everyday life.
More than a decade ago, we started with a mission to help parents navigate the complexities of newborn sleep. Today, we're helping more than 5 million people (and counting) take care of themselves and the people they love through the power of rest.
We’re open to candidates across the U.S. and Canada. However, please note that Hatch is based in California, so we just ask that you're available during PST/PDT hours.
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with a passion for sleep health and a strong UX mindset: someone who looks beyond the screen to define what we should build and why. You will be working on the evolution of Hatch Sleep Clock, our flagship adult product.
Join our growing team as we dream up new experiences that leverage our unique ecosystem of hardware, software, and content, working to define the sleep space as an essential part of overall health and wellness. As a Senior Product Designer at Hatch, you'll be an individual contributor on the adult products team, leading UX for new and evolving features that help adults fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up rested.
You’ll shape features from the earliest stage: framing problems, synthesizing research, mapping end-to-end journeys across app and device, and turning insights into new member journeys and experiences. You’ll pair that strategy with hands‑on design, partner closely with product and engineering to scope and ship features, and help build the product design practice at Hatch. You’ll collaborate with our stellar design, product, and engineering teams and play a big role in shaping the creative culture at our company.
Hatch was founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs (and parents themselves) Ann Crady Weiss and Dave Weiss. Headquartered in Menlo Park, California, Hatch creates tech that helps you and your family get better sleep.
