The reason behind the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next chapter of our design practice and a core area of our platform. We're moving from software that records what happened to software that acts on our customers' behalf, and design is at the center of that shift. This is a rare opportunity to help design "how we design" in a world of AI product features, agentic experiences, and AI‑assisted building.

Our product development org is growing, with a mandate to build an industry‑leading product, and we're at a pivotal moment for the kind of strategic work a strong designer will love. This role is ideal for someone who is a problem solver, thinks in systems, and believes design is a tool for unlocking better business outcomes. You'll work closely with product and engineering partners, champion our customers, and raise the bar for how design shows up in every part of the product.

You'll be comfortable with AI and technical systems, and you'll use both to move faster: prototyping with AI tools, working through tradeoffs with engineers, and shipping ideas instead of just specifying them. You stay accountable for every decision and every output. The tools are powerful, but your judgment and your understanding of our customers are what make the work good.

You will…
  • Join a small but mighty team of passionate designers grounded in feedback, transparency, and craft
  • Own problems from framing through to shipped solution, working with PMs, engineers, and fellow designers to craft elegant user experiences
  • Design intuitive, high‑impact solutions that make complex workflows feel simple for both field and office crews as well as their clients
  • Design agentic experiences where customers tell us what they need and the software does the work, with the right visibility and confirmation along the way
  • Use AI tools to prototype, test, and ship ideas quickly, and share what works so the whole team gets faster
  • Meet with customers at their locations and on calls
  • Contribute to the growth of our design system and design ops foundation, helping us scale consistent, accessible experiences across multiple platforms and brands
  • Build products for the SMB customer; a mashup of the visual design craft of B2C and the strategic workflow needs of enterprise
Required
  • 4+ years working as a product designer at a SaaS company, with a track record of shipping
  • Strong UX fundamentals: user flows, interaction design, and untangling complex workflows
  • Hands‑on AI fluency. You use tools like Claude and Cursor in your real workflow, and you can speak credibly about where AI helps, where it hurts, and how you validate what it produces
  • Technical comfort. You understand how the pieces of a system fit together, reason about implementation tradeoffs, and can build working prototypes
  • A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful, outcome‑driven work across multiple user flows, all wrapped in strong UI sensibilities
  • Deep‑rooted curiosity and user empathy, with excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Proficient in Figma and confident working with component libraries
Preferred
  • Experience designing AI‑powered or agentic product experiences
  • Design systems experience (bonus points for contributing to or building one)
  • A track record of improving team quality through critique, structure, or process
Compensation:
  • Canada‑based candidates: CAD 140,000 - 190,000
  • US‑based candidates: USD 140,000 - 190,000
Reasons why you would love it here!
  • Join a team culture that's all about collaboration, support, and having fun while making a real impact every day.
  • In the U.S., we offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options, plus additional add ons like HSA/FSA accounts, disability and life insurance, and more.
  • In Canada, we provide an employer‑funded HSA‑based benefits plan with drug, dental, and mental health coverage - giving you a flexible way to manage your healthcare needs.
  • We're committed to your financial future, with 401(k) matching for U.S. employees and RRSP matching for those in Canada.
  • We invest in your growth through tailored career development conversations and support for tools, courses, and resources to help you thrive.
  • And when it comes to work‑life balance? We offer unlimited Paid Time Off, paid company holidays, and a company‑wide winter break from December 24 to January 1 - so you can truly recharge.
