Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York seeks a Product Controller Senior Associate to oversee the balance sheet and capital management, ensuring accurate P&L and regulatory reporting. You will drive transaction cycle control, advise on deal-specific accounting, and collaborate on Basel III/IV capital requirements.

You will lead external reporting for the North America Credit Trading & Syndicate and Public Finance, coordinating with Legal Entity Controllers to ensure regulatory and disclosure integrity

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product control or related accounting roles.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Alteryx.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles including Fair Value Measurement and Fair Value Option.
• Fixed Income product knowledge including bonds and related securities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and capital concepts (RWA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be accountable for the quality and integrity of the financial statements and internal performance reporting for the business unit.
• Ensure understanding of developments in financial reporting and capital frameworks including Basel IV and related methodologies.
• Lead external financial reporting for North America Credit Trading & Syndicate and Public Finance.
• Coordinate with Legal Entity Controllers to ensure regulatory disclosure compliance.
• Provide guidance on accounting for products and maintain liaison with Accounting Policy.
• Review monthly financial performance and discuss trends and variances.
