Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Sales-focused professional to support go-to-market initiatives and sales execution for a portfolio of products, technologies, and services.

You will partner with customers, dealers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, value-driven solutions that drive growth and performance.

This role emphasizes collaboration across marketing, product, and field teams in a fast-paced environment onsite in Cary, NC or Peoria, IL.

Qualifications

  • Customer, dealer, or field-facing experience identifying needs and recommending product, technology, or service solutions.
  • Field experience working directly with customers and dealers to identify needs and develop solutions for aftermarket parts.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge of hydraulic and undercarriage systems.
  • Background in product application, technical sales, product support, commercial strategy, or dealer enablement.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer value and business outcomes.
  • Experience delivering product training, demonstrations, onboarding, or sales enablement support.
  • Ability to use performance data, customer requirements, and field insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence priorities and support go-to-market execution.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar products, dealer operations, applied technology, connected solutions, or similar equipment technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while building trusted stakeholder relationships.

  • This position is located in Cary, NC or Peoria, IL

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location,job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
