Job summary

Flex, a NYC-headquartered FinTech, is expanding its Product Compliance team. You will own complex advisory work, implement AI-enabled review workflows, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and bank partners to enable compliant innovation across lending and payments.

The role is hands-on (no people leadership) with strong emphasis on documentation, standards, and turning regulatory requirements into scalable product guardrails.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product compliance, compliance advisory, or regulatory risk roles in fintech, consumer lending, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Hands-on operator who documents reviews precisely and is accountable for outcomes without a team.
• Deep knowledge of consumer protection regulations for lending and payments and translating requirements into product guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Carry advisory reviews end to end for product launches, changes, and marketing initiatives with well-documented decisions.
• Apply consumer protection regulations to product design, disclosures, and customer journeys.
• Maintain and improve standards libraries, templates, and precedent for fast, consistent reviews.
