Job summary

Wand seeks a Product Analyst to own the metrics that matter and drive data-informed product decisions for our gaming platform. You’ll partner with Product, Growth, Marketing, and Finance to define frameworks and run experiments that shape what ships.

Focus on analysis, recommendations, and decisions while data engineering handles pipelines; collaborate with leaders on questions without obvious answers to understand player behavior across games.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Product Analyst on a consumer software or gaming team
• SQL fluency with complex joins, window functions, optimization
• Python for analysis using pandas and stats libraries
• Experimentation chops: hypothesis testing, sample sizing, p-values
• Direct communication of findings to leaders without excessive caveats
• Track record translating ambiguous questions into decisions that impact ships
• Prefers candidates with a quantitative degree and relevant tooling experience

Responsibilities

• Define metrics that drive product, growth, marketing, and finance decisions
• Investigate retention, funnel leaks, and cohort dynamics to name root causes
• Design and analyze A/B tests on product changes, pricing, onboarding, and growth initiatives
• Partner with leaders on strategic questions and deliver actionable recommendations
