The Senior Procurement Strategist/Buyer functions as a key strategic role, responsible for directing complex procurement initiatives encompassing advanced supplier negotiations, multi-faceted contract architecture, and senior-level supplier relationship management. This position requires deep expertise in sourcing raw materials and qualifying global and domestic vendors, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery targets. Leveraging a solid educational foundation in supply chain, business, or engineering, the strategist leads cross-functional initiatives, drives supplier performance improvements, and mitigates risk through proactive contract and relationship management. Additionally, this role plays a key part in mentoring junior staff and influencing organizational success through tactical procurement execution and long‑term sourcing strategies.
