Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Procurement Operations Senior Specialist to act as an independent contributor while collaborating across sourcing operations and procurement. You will be the subject matter expert in the tools and processes used to support strategic sourcing activities, including preparing RFXs, bid sheets, bid analysis, and reporting.

This hybrid role requires on-site work Monday through Thursday at the Richfield, MN corporate office, with remote work possible Friday.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in procurement, business, sales, finance or related fields.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables) and Word
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic understanding of strategic sourcing
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize work while receiving direction from multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, cost-savings and special projects
• Execute various sourcing tactics including RFI, RFQ, RFP, eAuctions, Collaborative Requisitioning and 3 Bids & a Buy
• Support category managers in contract related activities such as drafting and processing extensions, amendments, exhibits, NDAs and Master Service Agreements
• Ensure accurate data capture and proper project closure in alignment with team standards
• Manage the CAF/DocuSign routing process in accordance with applicable policies
• Collaborate with the Sourcing Operations Sr. Manager and category managers to assess project requirements and determine the appropriate level of sourcing support and prioritization before assigning projects to team members
