Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior procurement leader to drive sourcing strategy and asset management across a broad supplier network. You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives, develop business cases, and optimize total cost of ownership to unlock value.

Collaborating with Operations, Finance, and site leadership, you will steer RFx processes, negotiations, and contract development while mentoring cross-functional teams toward measurable cost savings and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, operations, logistics, or related function.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives involving suppliers, operations, financial stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
• Direct experience supporting warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, fleet, or operational service environments.
• Experience leading RFx events, supplier negotiations, contract development, supplier governance, and cross-functional sourcing projects.
• Experience developing business cases, cost models, total cost of ownership analysis, financial recommendations, or capital planning support.
• Strong analytical, financial, communication, project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, make sound recommendations, lead through ambiguity, and manage competing priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, lifecycle management, and governance of 3,500+ leased assets across 29 locations.
• Drive asset optimization through supplier strategies, standardization, replacement planning, redeployment, and TCO improvements.
• Analyze asset performance, utilization, and spend to identify cost savings and support data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and site leadership to align asset strategies with business objectives.
• Develop business cases, KPIs, reporting, and recommendations supporting fleet optimization and capital planning.
• Lead supplier relationships, governance, performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across categories.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Partner with Finance and Operations on budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, spend management, and contract compliance.
• Develop financial analyses and investment recommendations while monitoring savings and value creation targets.
• Identify and implement technology, analytics, and supplier innovation opportunities improving performance and visibility.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and guide project teams supporting operational improvement and network optimization.

• Drive asset optimization through supplier strategies, standardization, replacement planning, redeployment, and total cost of ownership improvements
