Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, supply chain, or finance
• 3–10 years of procurement experience
• Strong technical background in electrical/mechanical systems
• Proven negotiation, cost analysis, and value engineering
• ERP/MRP proficiency and MS Office expertise
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
• U.S. citizen capable of obtaining security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sourcing for electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Project Managers and Manufacturing Engineering to translate requirements.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and delivery.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering for cost reduction.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and specifications to ensure supplier compliance.
• Support NPI by identifying qualified suppliers from concept to production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and manage change orders.
• Negotiate commercial and technical terms to optimize cost and lead time.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead development or corrective actions.
• Stay current on market trends, materials, and technology in assigned categories.
