Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required.
• Three years of professional level procurement and contract administration experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be acceptable.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s license and certification from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (CPPB or CPPO) or the Institute for Supply Management (CPM, CPSM, or CPSD).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily procurement activities and bid processes.
• Develop bid specifications and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with bid specifications and county policies.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage contract changes and disputes.
• Maintain vendor lists and ensure use of registered suppliers.
