Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Process Water Engineer to join our Facilities Central Engineering Team in Utah. You will drive continuous improvement of DIW/UPW, IWW, and reclaim/reuse utility systems, ensuring compliance and supporting manufacturing operations 24/7.

You will mentor engineers, lead capital projects, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and other engineering teams to optimize system performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related science field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering decisions balancing safety, reliability, cost, capacity, and efficiency.
• Design, analyze, and improve DIW/UPW, IWW, and reclaim/reuse system utility networks.
• Provide engineering support for operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, process flow diagrams, procedures, and sequences of operation.
• Drive reliability and risk-based engineering through RCAs, FMEAs, and improvement roadmaps.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, manufacturing, EHS, and engineering to improve performance and safety.
• Mentor engineers and technicians to strengthen technical capability.
• Lead capital and expense projects for upgrades from concept through startup and handoff.
• Define scope, priorities, schedules, resources, and success measures; drive execution to plan.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop scopes of work, bid packages, technical specs, and construction docs.
• Facilitate alignment across departments and with external partners.
• Identify and manage risks, change control, and issues to minimize impact.
• Report progress, results, and lessons learned to leadership.
