Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a highly experienced manufacturing professional to support engineers in improving processes at our Newton, NC facility. The role focuses on machine setups, data collection, and analysis to optimize production.

The candidate should have 7+ years in manufacturing, be proficient in Excel, and hold or be pursuing a relevant education (HS as minimum, AAS preferred). This is a contract position for 12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• HS or equivalent required; AAS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of production samples, and data analysis.
• Plans sequence of operations for experimental trials, evaluating methods economically and considering operator comfort.
• Conducts tests and measurements to determine control over key process variables.
• Coordinate other activities beyond routine tasks and assist in cross-functional issues.
• Recommends process improvements and helps meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
