Stantec is seeking a Senior Process Piping Designer to contribute to Advanced Manufacturing projects. You will design as part of a team, developing process piping and mechanical layouts from concept through construction, including 2D and 3D drawings and PIDs.
The role requires about 10 years of piping design experience in relevant industries, with knowledge of Revit and BIM platforms. Occasional travel and leadership of junior designers are expected.
The Senior Process Piping Designer will be responsible for contributing to projects across the Advanced Manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will perform design as part of a team of engineers and designers. The project focus will include process systems such as; process-mechanical, Bulk Gas delivery and UHP (VHP/Gas/Chemical), Industrial Waste lift, collection and treatment, and UPW (make-up, primary, and polish loop) systems for multiple ongoing projects.
10 years of combined experience in piping fabrication and/or design for process or mechanical systems in semiconductor, oil and gas, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
Two-year Technical or Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Construction Technology, or similar with knowledge of Revit and BIM; platforms, or an equivalent combination of education and trade experience.

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
