Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX seeks a 14nm Product PIE to own the product lifecycle for multiple customers, from NPI to high-volume production. You will work with yield data and process owners to ensure quality and profitability.

You will lead yield enhancement efforts, participate in regular progress meetings with customers, and maintain proactive follow-up on technical action items to ensure satisfaction. Strong communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from Physics, EE, Chemical engineering, or Materials Science.
• 4+ years semiconductor process experience.
• Strong statistical analysis using JUMP or Spotfire.
• Strong technical communication with customers.

Position Summary

The 14nm Product PIE holds full accountability for the lifecycle of products for specific customers, spanning from the initial NPI phase through to high-volume mass production. To maximize profitability and quality, the PIE drives systematic yield enhancement activities; when yield loss occurs, they lead the investigation to identify the root cause by leveraging data and insights from the Yield Analysis team. To ensure consistent quality across the fab, the PIE works closely with the owners of each unit process layer to define, validate, and implement Best Known Methods (BKM). Additionally, the PIE maintains a strong customer-facing presence by attending regular progress meetings, managing expectations, and diligently following up on all technical action items to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Inline, ET and yield trend monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Excursion action follow up. attending to customer meeting and action item follow up.

Skills and Qualifications

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
