Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer for Industrial Water Treatment on the Starlink program. You will own the ultrapure process water facility for high-volume production supporting PCB, silicon packaging, and solar cell lines.

You will design, optimize, and operate systems, interpret lab data, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, EHS, and regulatory bodies to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math or science required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or fluids/mechanical/electromechanical design.
• Experience translating lab results into safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Own activation and operation of a new ultrapure process water facility.
• Design, implement and productionize mechanical and fluid systems.
• Interpret lab data to maintain safe and effective plant operations.
• Develop, implement, and improve procedures and equipment.
• Collaborate with operations, EHS, facilities, regulators, OEMs, and suppliers.
• Identify and champion continuous improvement projects.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses.
• Monitor area status and risks.
