Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. at West Point, PA seeks a Sr. Specialist, Engineering to guide sterile process development and production for clinical and development batches. You will partner with development scientists, manage deviations, and drive process improvements in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical or operations role with GMP exposure.
• Sterile process manufacturing, formulation development and batch documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input on sterile processes from facility and operations perspective.
• Provide manufacturing project management oversight and GMP expertise.
• Interface with development scientists for sterile liquid batches and transfers.
• Lead deviation management, process improvement, and technology implementations.
