Job summary

Lam Research Austin is seeking a Process Engineer to innovate in atomic precision and surface engineering for advanced semiconductor equipment. You will develop new formulations, define hardware needs, evaluate test data, and coordinate design requirements to meet processing specs, contributing to global product roadmaps and customer success.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree with substantial experience in semiconductor processes.
• Experience with SPC and DOE is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.
• Review and optimize processing techniques to improve yield and cost.
• Develop new processes and quantify performance with test data.
• Collaborate across teams to align roadmaps and customer demos.
• Lead projects selecting innovative concepts for process development.
• Support customer sites with technology adoption and troubleshooting
