Vibrant Ingredients seeks a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer/Chemist to optimize production processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the quality and consistency of Vibrant’s products.

The role requires expertise across fermentation, extraction, drying technologies, and robust project management, with the ability to travel up to 25% to support plant operations and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Science degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
• Proven track record in food-process optimization.
• Understanding of fermentation, extraction, and drying of ingredients.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing lines to identify inefficiencies and optimize parameters.
• Use DoE and SPC to model variables and set optimal windows.
• Collaborate with CI teams to reduce losses and energy usage.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement CAPAs to reduce variability.
• Oversee scaling from pilot to commercial production; define KPIs.
• Update SOPs to reflect optimized methods for operators.
• Drive projects to successful completion.
