Job summary

HydroGraph, located in Austin, TX, seeks a Sr. Process Engineer to join its Advance Manufacturing team. This role connects material properties, process behavior, and testing requirements to ensure new products and process changes are production-ready.

You will drive NPI, define critical process parameters and testing standards, manage change control, and mentor less experienced engineers while collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver robust, scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in process engineering or a related field.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) is required.
• Proven ability to develop and approve process standards and test plans.
• Experience identifying critical process parameters and using data to guide decisions.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality.
• Mentoring or supporting less experienced engineers.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Excellent statistical analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve standards, processes, test plans, and documentation for seamless product handoffs to production.
• Identify critical process parameters and operating limits; analyze data to support production decisions.
• Manage change control requests and determine testing requirements for changes.
• Ensure readiness of FMEAs, DFMs, and RCFA analyses.
• Provide hands-on support and ideas to advance Advance Manufacturing goals.
• Support training and production readiness for new product launches and transfers.
