Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering and construction projects for natural gas facilities. You will ensure alignment with PM practices, drive PM systems, and manage risk mitigation strategies.

The role focuses on developing and implementing templates and tools to improve performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on compliance with PSM standards and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemical or Petroleum.
• 8 years experience.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Natural Gas Facilities (preferred).
• Previous experience with new facility design engineering (preferred).
• Previous experience with PSM covered assets (preferred).
• Previous experience with Relief Sizing and Studies (preferred).
• Experience with simulation modeling software such as Ariel Software, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, Symmetry Flare, Promax, HYSYS, and Symmetry.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development, management, and completion of a wide range of engineering and construction projects.
• Supports the use of project management methods and procedures used for the various project phases.
• Ensures that NG&NGL current project management practices are aligned with industry and company best practices.
• Drives the development, implementation, and use of project management systems, templates, applications, and other tools.
• Directs project risk management processes required to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversees the continuous improvement of key performance indicators to measure NG&NGL project management practice adherence.
