Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 8+ years in process engineering within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and industry codes/standards (API, ASME).
• Strong knowledge of process safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design activities including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing.
• Perform process simulations and hydraulic calculations (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
• Support HAZOP, LOPA, and other process safety reviews; close out action items.
• Troubleshoot plant performance issues and identify debottlenecking and optimization opportunities.
• Review vendor documents and support procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Mentor junior engineers and review deliverables for technical accuracy.
