Job summary

Saft is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to develop and implement process strategies, manage resources, and optimize existing processes to sustain production efficiency. You will analyze systems, implement improvements, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across operations.

The role requires a mechanical or aerospace engineering background, extensive experience with process simulations, SOPs, and CAD tools, along with strong analytical and regulatory awareness skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 7-10 years of proven work experience as a process engineer.
• Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures.
• High-level knowledge of process engineering software systems.
• Experience working with CAD and AutoCAD.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with state health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Meet with production managers to assess existing processes.
• Draft process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.
• Perform risk assessments and optimization tests.
• Design and test process upgrades and new process systems.
• Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.
• Perform process simulations and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop routine and best practices to ensure product quality.
• Develop standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
