Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in medical device or combination product development and benchtop testing.
• Ability to design experiments, develop test methods, and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support evaluation, selection, development, and implementation of devices and delivery systems.
• Develop evaluation strategies including feasibility studies and testing.
• Translate product, clinical, user, and commercial needs into device requirements and specs.
• Design, plan, and execute benchtop studies to optimize device performance and workflow.
• Assess material, flow, hold times, and delivery parameters on product quality and dose.
• Develop and execute verification, qualification, and validation studies for clinical and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate device activities into the development plan.
