Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, refining, or continuous-process environments.
• Experience with DCS and process historians to monitor and optimize plant performance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and EHS.
• Working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) including PHA, MOC, Mechanical Integrity, RAGAGEP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for process safety and risk management activities.
• Participate in PHA, LOPA and other risk assessments as required.
• Support compliance with PSM regulations and company standards.
• Assist with safe handling of hazardous and flammable materials.
• Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability.
• Support compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to understand daily plant activities and challenges.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for process and equipment issues.
• Analyze process data and control system information to optimize performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, quality, and cost.
