Job summary

Nouryon, LaPorte, Texas, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to optimize metal alkyls production assets, lead capex projects, and drive process improvements across sites. You will define plant trials, prepare design packages, and support commissioning and startup activities for large capital projects.

The role requires MSc Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of process engineering experience, with strong English communication and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Operational experience with batch liquid reactor systems.
• Experience leading capex projects in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement options for asset optimization (debottlenecking, capacity and OEE improvements).
• Act as technology licensor or lead process engineer in capex projects.
• Prepare process design/basic engineering for smaller capex projects and participate in hazard studies.
