  • Develop, document, maintain, and standardize production processes and procedures to support efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor process performance and ensure consistency through process controls and operational oversight.
  • Compile and evaluate test data to establish process limits, material specifications, and operating parameters.
  • Perform failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) to identify process failure points and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S activities, and process optimization efforts.
  • Support both manual and automated manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
  • Partner with Program teams and customers on product design and process development to support new product introduction and transfer to production.
  • Execute capital equipment projects, including market analysis, equipment selection, procurement justification, installation, and implementation.
  • Interface with customers, engineers, technicians, production personnel, and support staff to meet organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for assigned product lines, preparing process changes, additions, and modifications to support production readiness.
  • Support advanced manufacturing initiatives, including Industry 4.0 and digital transformation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Complexity and Supervision
  • Applies advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical and manufacturing challenges.
  • Works independently with limited supervision while exercising sound engineering judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Serves as a technical resource and mentor to engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Leads cross‑functional initiatives and drives process improvements across multiple manufacturing areas.
  • Evaluates process risks and implements corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance.
  • May lead projects or project teams with responsibility for timelines, deliverables, and implementation activities.
  • Typically requires 8–10 years of related engineering experience.
