Qualifications

• Training in organic synthesis (including synthetic methodology, catalysis, or total synthesis)
• Significant experience in chemical synthesis, compound purification, and analytical characterization (HPLC, MS, NMR)
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Productivity and efficiency in an organic chemistry lab

Responsibilities

• Characterize late-stage syntheses to support commercialization of small molecules; perform DOE, fate and purge studies, marker prep
• Work with a variety of chemicals using modern lab equipment with rigorous documentation
• Synthesize starting materials and intermediates; kilo lab scale up of intermediates and APIs
• Plan experiments, analyze data, and write clear development reports
