Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Senior Engineer, Process Automation to support our cutting-edge GxP manufacturing systems. You will troubleshoot DeltaV and Allen‑Bradley PLCs, uphold compliance in solution design and operations, and mentor junior engineers.

With 5–10 years in process automation, you will lead initiatives across Aveva System Platform, Syncade, and Pi Historian while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, CS or related technology discipline.
• 5–10 years working with process automation systems.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Flexibility to occasionally cover off-hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting complex issues within GxP Process Automation Systems (DeltaV, Allen‑Bradley PLCs).
• Maintaining a culture of compliance in design and operations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers.
