Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced investment professional to manage discretionary portfolios for high-net-worth clients in a senior capacity. The role focuses on designing asset allocations, selecting managers, and delivering proactive client communications.

You will lead portfolio construction, risk management, and investment reviews while mentoring associates and contributing to business development within Wealth Management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of investment decision making and financial consulting experience with high-net-worth clients
  • Experience in wealth management/private banking/trust with fiduciary responsibility
  • Broad-based technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal and operations
  • Knowledge of fiduciary standards and applicable laws/regulations
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and client service skills
  • Ability to mentor associates and support business development

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized investment strategies for high-net-worth clients
  • Manage all aspects of discretionary portfolios including asset allocation and risk management
  • Select securities and investment managers; oversee trade execution
  • Provide proactive client communication and investment reviews
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver integrated bank solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and support client retention and growth
