Job summary

Lenovo seeks a Senior Private Cloud Architect to lead the OpenStack-based private cloud design for scalable, AI-enabled workloads. The role emphasizes secure, multi-tenant environments with automated provisioning, RBAC, and strong governance across global teams.

You will collaborate with security, DevOps, and data-center operations to deliver resilient infrastructure, leveraging modern IaC tools and hybrid cloud patterns.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture.
5+ years specifically on OpenStack-based private cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end architecture of the OpenStack-based private cloud, including design of scalable deployment and multi-tenant RBAC.
Lead AI infrastructure enablement with GPU passthrough/virtualization and elastic workloads scheduling.
Define security, federation, key management, and audit trail integration across OpenStack services.
Architect storage and networking (Ceph, iSCSI, SDN) and hybrid/edge integration with Kubernetes ecosystems.
Drive automation via Terraform/Heat templates and GitOps-style workflows for platform rollout and updates.
Lead design reviews, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and provide guidance to engineering teams.
