Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Private Banker in Columbus, OH to deliver full-spectrum private banking services for affluent clients. You will collaborate with investments, mortgage, and trust teams to tailor solutions, manage relationships, and expand business through referrals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, and 6–8 years’ experience, with Series 7/63/65/66 licenses expected. Strong communication, analytical, and sales skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management.
• Knowledge of securities, investment and fiduciary products.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contacts for developing and closing new business.
• Collaborate across lines including investments, mortgage, small business banking, and trust.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with company officials, attorneys, accountants, and other referrals.
• Discuss financial planning and background information with clients to tailor solutions.
• Meet and/or exceed annual production guidelines; provide financial analyses and proposals.
• Cross-sell Northwest products and services; conduct client meetings and seminars.
